What data is processed

The simulation runs entirely in your browser. Inputs such as start capital, investment horizon, contributions and withdrawals are not transmitted to a server and are not stored. They exist only in the address bar of your browser.

Shared scenario links

The share button copies the current address, and that address contains the figures you entered — for example the start capital and the monthly contribution. Anyone you send the link to can read those figures. Keep that in mind before sharing a scenario built from your real finances.

Hosting

The site is delivered as a static website through Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, USA, and its European data centres). Technically necessary server log data is created in the process: IP address, time of the request, requested resource, referrer and browser identification. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — the legitimate interest in secure and reliable delivery. Where data is transferred to the USA, the transfer is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, in addition, on standard contractual clauses. How long these log data are retained is determined by Cloudflare, not by the operator of this site.

Local storage

Two technical settings are kept in your browser's local storage: the colour scheme you chose and whether you have already seen the introduction. These values never leave your device and can be removed by clearing your browser data.

Your rights

You have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority: Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Gustav-Stresemann-Ring 1, 65189 Wiesbaden.
